Pujya Sri Omkarananda Maha Swamiji

Pujya Shri Omkarananda Mahaswamiji formally studied the Vedas in a traditional Veda Pathashala. He was highly proficient in both Tamil and Sanskrit languages. He rigorously studied the principles of Advaita Vedanta under Shri Swami Paramarthananda.

Shri Swami Purnananda is a disciple of Pujya Shri Omkarananda Mahaswamiji. He joined the three-year Vedantic training program initiated by Pujya Shri Swamiji in 2000 and studied Vedanta thoroughly. Since then, he has been consistently conducting Vedanta classes.
