Facility for Camps
Many Acharyas conducting regular Vedanta classes have found the ambiance of this ashram very conducive for conducting regular camps. World class, class room with acoustic technology is the first attraction. The class room called “Agni Global” Class room is fully air conditioned and spacious. For accommodation of the students, Bharthi Vidyarthi Vilasa is available. This building can accommodate easily 90 persons. Each room is provided with Two cots, with attached bath room, toilet and Veranda for drying cloths. There is provision for keeping luggage. Annalakshmi is a large dining hall were at a time 200 persons can dine together. We have good cooking staff, sathvic food is provided. Mullai Periyar river is flowing behind the ashram.
The Ashram is well connected by road. The nearest airport is Madurai. Theni has a Railway station; Cab service is also available. Nearly pilgrimage centre is Madurai (75 Km) .The Sadaks attending the camps can spend some time in the Dhakshinamurthi temple situate in the ashram. The temple activity starts at 5 am with Gho Puja.
Pujyasri Omkarananda Swamiji adhistanam is situate opposite to the Dakshinamurthi temple. (Trikala Pujas conducted). Adhistanam is a place more suitable for meditation because of serenity prevailing in the Dhayan Mandapam. Regular Parayanams are done in the evening.
We may add that, we have a lecture hall named Brahma Lok where nearly 120 persons can be seated. We have Paramarthananda Bhavan which serves as cushion for accommodating persons exceeding 90. A small Thatched class room named Kuteeram is available for conducting small classes accommodating about 30 persons.
