About Vidyapitham

Pujyasri Swamiji consecrated Adiguru Sri Prajna Dakshinamurti Vidyapitam in 2004  and the second Maha Kumbabhishekam was performed in 2016.

Swamiji also consecrated Sri Vinayagar,Sri Shanmugar,Sri Badari Narayanar,Sri Suryanarayanar, Sri Saradambal, Sri Mahalakshmi as Parivaara Devatas and in 2016 consecrated a Sannidhi for the Guru's.

Sri Guru Bhagavan has been consecrated facing Adi Guru Sri PrajnaDakshinamurti and this is very unique and rarely seen elsewhere. During GuruPeyarchi a Sama Kaala Pushpanjali and Deeparadhana is performed to Adi guruSri Prajna Dakshinamurti and Sri Guru Bhagavan.

All rituals are performed as per Sivagama Sasthram, beginning with a Go Puja @ 5 am followed by Viswaroopa Darshanam, Suprabhatam, Abhishekam, Alankaram and Archanai. Four Kaala Pujas are performed daily and Vishesha Deeparadhana is performed on Thursdays and festive days. Sahasra Kalasabhishekam, Ati Rudram etc have been performed in the Yagasala that adjoins the Vidyapitham.

An Akhanda Deepam, which shines 24x7x365 adorns the Vidyapitham entrance. It is kept alight with Gingelly Oil poured by the devotees who specially pray, and offer the Gingelly Oil, to the Deepam.

Swamiji's vision is that the Vidyapitam will be a place for Puja, Prarthana and Dhyanam leading to Chitta Shuddhi.

Pujyasri Swamiji’s Quotes

"Spiritual aspirants who study texts such as Gita are often mocked at, as ones who do not know the art of survival. But it is only those who study the Gita that can survive the sorrows and vagaries of life."
