Pujyasri Swami Omkarananda Mahaswamigal
Founder of Sri Swami Chidbhavananda Ashramam
Pujyasri Omkarananda Mahaswamigal was born in a vaidika family, deeply rooted in tradition and culture. He embraced the Vedic lifestyle from early childhood. An erudite scholar and Ganapati in his purvashrama, he was proficient in both Tamil and Sanskrit Vedanta Texts.

PRESENT ACHARYA
Swami Samananda Saraswati
A disciple of Pujyasri Omkarananda Mahaswamigal. He was named as successor by Pujyasri Omkarananda Mahaswamigal. Spritually guided by Pujyasri Paramarthananda and Pujyasri Guruparananda. He has taught almost all major Vedantic texts in various locations. He has a special interest in teaching Thayumanavar Padalgal.
THE GUIDING LINEAGE
Swami Purnananda Saraswati
Sri Swami Purnananda is a disciple of Pujyasri Omkarananda Mahaswamigal and received Sanyasa Deeksha from him. He completed the three-year Vedanta course conducted by Swamiji from 2000 to 2003 and is now a teacher of Vedanta. He regularly conducts classes at the ashram and other locations. He also serves as the editor of Vedaneri, the ashram’s magazine.
Swami Jnanasivananda Saraswati
Sri Swami Jnanasivananda was a close associate of Pujyasri Swami Omkarananda Mahaswamigal for nearly four decades and received Sanyasa Deeksha from him. Swami Omkarananda and Swami Guruparananda were his spiritual guides. He conducts regular Vedanta classes in Theni, Dindigul, and other locations.
